1972 Honda CB500 Four in Jacksonville Beach, FL

Why buy a mid 90's generic cruiser when you can have something to talk about??? Selling my classic 1972 Honda CB500 Four. This bike is in exceptionally good condition for a bike that turned 40 this month (04/1972 production date). I am not the original owner, and don't have a history but the odometer shows 18913 miles and looks to be original and given the care taken, I am as sure as I can be that it's true. Cosmetically she is in beautiful condition, and shows some evidence of an older quality restoration. The chrome is original with only minor pitting. The aluminum is bright and polished and the only rash is some pits on the stator cover from a knock down in a parking lot. All electrical functions perfectly. The paint is not original but looks good and I would rate it an 8/10. The seat is original with no rips or tears, with only the plastic bead along the edge showing some wear. Mechanically, she is in very good condition with a strong motor that starts immediately, and pulls hard through all gears. The bike shifts crisply and the clutch is strong. The carbs are immaculate, it has a new battery, new points and condenser, spark plugs, oil and filter, even the chain looks new. The tires are like new and the brakes function properly with plenty of lining remaining. All throttle cables are new as well. Bike comes with the original tool kit. This bike would make an excellent cafe racer, and elicits conversation ANYWHERE you go. She will only appreciate in value and is a true classic, and very rare in this condition.
